Hazel's Cranberry Nut Bread

2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 Tbs hot water
2 Tbs melted crisco
1 cup cranberries cut in half
1 cup sugar
1 beaten egg
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup walnuts

Sift all dry ingredients
Add crisco, hot water and orange juice
add egg.
Add berries and nuts
Bake 325 for an hour and ten minutes.

Yummy with cream cheese and a cup of tea.
